About Me
My name is Ginna Hamby. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University and have been a certified math teacher in Tennessee since 1993. I tutored for several years before teaching in the Rutherford County School system where I taught middle school for 12 years and high school for 8 years. I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Integrated Math 3, Discrete Math, Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I have taught at the standard, honors, and advanced honors levels. In 2018 I was voted teacher of the year at Blackman High School where I served as math department chair for 4 years. I love math and love helping students reach their full potential in math.
